On Friday the 27th of April, after the heavy rain on Riyadh and areas around Riyadh, I woke up at 9 a.m.. I was bothered when I discovered I had woken up too early with no plans except for playing football at 6:30 p.m. and going out with friends afterwards, and that time seemed to far away.
After failing in going back to sleep, I decided at 10 a.m. to go out to the desert. I contacted a group of friends, but they were already gone and wouldn’t come back till night and that didn’t suit me, I also contacted another group of friends who weren’t exciting to go. Therefore, I realized that I’d go out alone.
In this situation, I made a plan and prepared my photography kit to this trip. I decided to go first to “Al-Mihilyah” sand dunes, then pray Jum’ah in a gas station near by. After that, the plan was to buy my lunch from Al-Muzahmiya, then lastly set in “Al-Khararrah” sand dunes. The plan went as it. I got out of home around 10:30 a.m. and got out of “Al-Khararrah” around 5 p.m.. Every thing was perfect, except for the dust particles that flew in the air.
The photos were taken by my D750 with Micro-Nikkor 105mm and Rokinon 12mm Fisheye.
I really wished I could add the below photo to the collection of “Sand & Dust“. However, the plenty of garbages ruined the great view.
