العربية

Colors of Saudi is the biggest annual exhibition for photography in Saudi Arabia. The exhibition gets the interests of various entities to support this amazing art such Almarai and National Geographic competition, or to deliver different massages. Despite that, the beautiful renewal of individual exhibitors always calls for a journey in the gorgeous art of photography.

The journey starts with the first step in Colors of Saudi, and never ends as it never leaves the mind. The wanderer passes by attractions which holds to admire for a while. A board, with infant hanging on, attracts the wanderer to get close to, until he realizes that it’s a well taken photo with a great use of environment and shadows by Arwa. The wanderer takes several steps to see a collection of cats holding many words and feelings in their eyes by Lamya Alkubeyyer. Then, the wanderer enters a micro world to see a new reality through butterfly wings taken by Ghada Alsiddiky. He continues through the micro world, but with a huge amount of colors such as used in movies presented by Feryal Alhassan. The wanderer finally stops by a shell in the shape of a galaxy given by Hanan Alrajhi to start in a new journey of creativity.

A man, with his full formal look, is wrapping his “Bisht”, a creation of Aboud Bin Salem, to welcome the wanderer. After that, the wanderer goes in his journey to meet different people in their unique worlds in civilized cities or natural environments which all gathered by Abdulrahman Aljarbou. Then, The wanderer watches a watch of months made of leaves and created by Ebtssam. The wanderer flys with Hasan Almubarak to see huge sand dunes from a window of clouds. A man holding his sword is looking with his eyes which show readiness for a battle, created by Bador Foad, stops the wanderer. However, the wanderer runs to a world created by Abdullah Alrowis with parallel and crossed lines and curves that amuse the eyes. The journey continues in photo, by Ali Alqaidi, of more than 200 prayers lined in the Grand Mosque in Mecca.

When the wanderer starts to get tired and guesses the journey’s end is close, photos of people from south Asia, taken by Khalid, surprises the wanderer. In addition, the clay window which Mohammed Alenzi took a photo of palm trees, the great cinematic studio made by Belal Albadr and catched pure moment of joy by Ali Albuwaydi makes the wanderer realize that this journey will never end.
